Homefront Honor Foundation SMS Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: July 21, 2026
Last Updated: July 21, 2026

These SMS Terms and Conditions govern text messages sent or received through the Homefront Honor Foundation text messaging service.

By opting in to, initiating, or continuing a text-message conversation with Homefront Honor Foundation, you agree to these SMS Terms and Conditions.

1. About the SMS Service

Homefront Honor Foundation may use SMS text messaging for conversational, person-to-person communications relating to:

  • Responding to questions or requests for assistance
  • Coordinating resource referrals
  • Following up regarding services or community resources
  • Scheduling or confirming meetings, appointments, or activities
  • Communicating with volunteers, staff members, board members, donors, partners, or program participants
  • Providing administrative, operational, or service-related information
  • Responding to communications initiated by the recipient

The SMS service is intended primarily for conversational and service-related communication. It is not intended for unsolicited advertising, mass marketing, or automated promotional broadcasts.

Consent to receive text messages is not required as a condition of receiving assistance or participating in Homefront Honor Foundation programs.

2. Availability of Programs and Services

Homefront Honor Foundation is a developing nonprofit organization. Certain programs, services, communication features, referral options, or activities described in these SMS Terms and Conditions may not be available at all times, in every location, or to every individual.

References to assistance requests, referrals, appointments, volunteer activities, donations, programs, or other services describe potential uses of the SMS service and do not represent that every listed program or service is currently offered.

The information requested or collected through SMS will depend on:

  • The nature of the communication
  • The programs or services currently available
  • The information voluntarily provided by the recipient
  • The information reasonably necessary to respond to a request
  • Applicable operational, legal, contractual, privacy, and security requirements

Homefront Honor Foundation seeks to collect only the information reasonably necessary for the applicable communication or service.

3. Opting In

You may opt in to SMS communications by:

  • Providing your mobile telephone number and expressly agreeing to receive text messages
  • Requesting that Homefront Honor Foundation contact you by text message
  • Initiating a text-message conversation with an authorized Homefront Honor Foundation representative
  • Responding affirmatively to an SMS consent request
  • Completing a form that clearly offers SMS communication as an option
  • Providing verbal or written consent that is appropriately documented by Homefront Honor Foundation

Consent applies only to communications from Homefront Honor Foundation and may not be sold, transferred, or assigned to an unrelated third party.

Consent is limited to the purpose for which it was provided. Providing consent for one type of communication does not necessarily constitute consent for unrelated communications.

4. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies depending on your interaction with Homefront Honor Foundation, the nature of your request, and whether you continue the conversation.

You may receive an initial message identifying Homefront Honor Foundation and explaining how to obtain help or opt out.

Additional messages may be sent as reasonably necessary to:

  • Respond to your request
  • Continue an active conversation
  • Provide an authorized update
  • Coordinate a referral, meeting, or activity
  • Communicate information you requested

5. Message and Data Rates

Homefront Honor Foundation does not charge a fee for participation in its SMS service.

Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your wireless carrier, mobile-service provider, and service plan.

You are responsible for any fees or charges imposed by your wireless provider.

6. Opting Out

You may stop receiving text messages at any time by replying with any of the following:

STOP, QUIT, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, REVOKE, or OPT OUT

After an opt-out request is received, you may receive one final confirmation message stating that you have been unsubscribed.

No additional text messages will be sent through that conversation unless:

  • You later provide renewed consent
  • You initiate a new conversation
  • A message is reasonably necessary to address an immediate safety, legal, or security concern

To resume receiving messages, reply:

START

Homefront Honor Foundation will also honor reasonable opt-out requests made through telephone, email, or another recognized communication method.
